Conventional teaching versus 21st-century teaching has long been a central point of discussion in education. A traditional classroom can no longer accommodate the current students' learning styles. Sitting in a classroom with four walls and a blackboard has restrained them from bringing out the best potential in them. The one-size-fits-all teaching pedagogy can no longer best serve our children today. The evolution of technological advancement has sparked students' curiosity to explore beyond the textbook. 

 

​Much research has been done on the science of human learning. Psychologists and scientists have discovered the learning experience and learning styles from the learner's perspective. The digital world has shaped children to learn with multiple senses: visual, audio, kinesthetic, and tactile. Children are attracted to interesting graphics, short clips, and hands-on experience, too. The vast learning styles have prompted educators to rethink the book-based teaching method. It is time to revise the current teaching pedagogy to be student-centered and to put students' needs as the top priority.
